Tunisia welcomes key players from the golf travel industry to Hammamet
Tunisia will host the international conference for golf tour operators for the first time next month.
Taking place on 18th May 2009 on Tunisia’s ‘golf coast’, The Vincci Taj Sultan Hotel in Hammamet will welcome guest speakers and presentations from the President of IAGTO and the Minister of Tourism in Tunisia.
Tunisia boasts ten golf courses, which are set to double in number by 2012. Its most recent addition being the newly opened course at The Residence in Gammarth.
The year-round temperate climate makes Tunisia a superb golfing destination and at only a two-and-a-half hour flight from London - it takes longer to cover 18-holes than it does to fly there.
