Calypso first opened in 1968, and was one of the first clubs in Hammamet, together with the Ranch. During the 70’s and the 80’s, Calypso partook considerably to the city’s nightlife. Calypso truly lived it’s glorious days after its reopening in 1991, and quickly positioned itself as number one on the night scene.

For 15 years, Calypso has become the reference for the Tunisian clubbers, by keeping a very selective clientele, by maintaining high standards of hospitality and service, by hiring the best local DJs as well as the best PRs, and by being always equipped with the latest innovations in terms of sounding and lightning.

Calypso was also a pioneer in Tunisia by being the first club to call on worldwide famous DJs, such as Hernan Cattaneo, Ferry Corsten, Deep Dish, David Morales, Behrouz, Satoshi Tomiie, Chus & Ceballos, James Zabiela, Paolo Mojo ... For the forthcoming season, Calypso will remain faithful to its traditions and again create the event by proposing a highly eclectic and colorful program, with one or two international DJs and a great thematic party every week.
